Dispatchers need to know where trucks are. Compliance needs accurate records. Finance needs clean data to bill faster. That is why the Motive integration exists. Telematics flow into EXSPEEDITE so operations, compliance, and finance work from one record.
Connection
From EXSPEEDITE admin, authorize Motive and enable vehicle position updates. The system registers the location webhook. Drivers and vehicles map into EXSPEEDITE. As units move, locations arrive without a check-call phone chain.
Dispatch states
Shipments move through entry, manifest, dispatch, arrive shipper, depart shipper, arrive consignee, depart consignee, and complete. Location sits next to those states: tractor, driver, and whether the shipment is progressing.
What the update carries
Timestamp, latitude and longitude, speed, event type, location description. Driver and vehicle sync removes duplicate records. Compliance data includes HOS violations, inspection reports, odometer, defects, and IFTA trips (jurisdiction, dates, distance, odometer) into fuel and IFTA tools.
Then the invoice
When the shipment is complete, billing can batch invoices with attachments. Driver pay can follow completed loads. The integration is there to cut retyping, not to replace CheckPoint as the EXSPEEDITE GPS product.

- Authorize Motive in EXSPEEDITE admin.
- Sync drivers and vehicles.
- Enable vehicle position updates.
- Confirm location events on the tractor.
- Import IFTA trips, inspections, and HOS as needed.
